دل اور دماغ کے تضادات نفسیات میں رومانی اور جذبات کا موضوع ہیں۔ جب ہم کسی سے بچھڑتے ہیں، دل کی تکلیف طولاتفاہ ہوتی ہے اور دماغ کا کام ہوتا ہے اسے قنوتی یا راحت دینا۔ یہ عجیب دنیا، جہاں دماغ اور دل کا تعلق خود میں ایک خصوصی راز ہے۔
نفسیات کی رو سے دیکھا جائے تو اگر کوئی شخص ہم سے بچھڑ جاتا ہے تو اسے بھلانے میں ہمارا دماغ اکیس دن لیتا ہے مگر نفسیات کا یہ اصول صرف اور صرف دماغ کے لیے ہی ہے ۔ جبکہ دل کا کوئی اصول نہیں ہے بات جب دل کے معاملے پر آ جائے تو تب اکیس سال بھی کم پڑ جایا کرتے ہیں ۔
